I have recently incorporated some thing new into my practice and it is exciting to me. So I feel that I want to share the love and inspiration. But first let me give you some background on how it came to me. A few years ago my husband and I had a magical road trip to Nova Scotia where we hung out with the sea otters, the whales and the rocks. If you have ever been Down East you can relate to the magnificence of the natural recourses on that side of our fair country. Nature literally leaps out and speaks to your very consciousness. We spent three weeks hiking and touring. But two specific beaches really spoke to us. I believe one was called Cape Chignecto Provincial park near Cape D’Or. Here we saw so many fossils and fantastic rocks that were smoothed, and rounded for thousands of years to become the magnificent egg like structures that work so very symbiotically with the human body. The other beach was somewhere off of Digby, called Pebble beach. Well that name is the understatement of the year. We went away with our trunk so full of rocks of all shapes that we were actually concerned for the car’s suspension. Both places left an indelible mark on my memory.

When I got home I arranged the rocks in various Feng Shui oriented locations in our apartment and at my office. I added water fountains, and gems and created various microcosms of paradise. I really saw them as grounding for the environment. And so I thought that was the extent of how these rocks would impact my life. Until very recently this was true. But that seemed to shift profoundly when I began attending a group that worked with Peruvian whistling vessels that impact a person vibrationally to open the third eye and to shift a persons body, mind, and spirit through the tool of resonance and vibration.

The whistling vessels were my means to my end of hearing the rocks. You may think OK she’s flipped, she ‘s hearing things. But all I can tell you is that suddenly that seemingly silent corner in my office began to have a profound dialogue with me that was impossible to ignore for one more minute. As I was doing bodywork, the rocks would begin to gently whisper in my head. “Use me on that sacrum.” “This person will feel more comfort, safety and grounding if you heat me and put me on their palm to hold and feel. ” “Their toes are gripping at life as if they are on their last journey. Warm us and place us in between each toe now. Try me…” And it went on. It was as if the rocks were telling a story about who they were in relation to each person on my table. Sometimes they grounded. Sometime they comforted. Sometime they simply provided a firm touch along each side of the spine. An opening, a next level. A new consciousness. No matter what they represented to the client, they seemed to always suggest the right thing at the right time.

I began using these wonderful healing entities on the client’s meridian system as well and I found that the rock could guide me easily to where the interrupted energy was. I have also found that the rocks are wonderful as stationary items on sore hearts, sore abdomens and solarplexi. What a joy to have this addition to the work. They seem to provide exactly what the person needs, when the person needs it. It is like they have a balancing, neutralizing intuition.

They are my guides, and my friends. Thank you Nova Scotia!

What this has shown me is that I am forever adding and growing even when I am not aware that this is happening. The shifts to a higher vibration can sometimes occur when we are not even looking. My eyes are open now to any another innocuous objects that might begin having an intimate dialogue with me. I’m all ears!
